Honestly, I'm trying to keep up with our blog but with roof tent containers landing and fittings being booked in its a constant flow of roof tents and awnings going through our doors at the minute.

We actually had two fittings yesterday (then second will be uploaded later today) a Land Rover Defender 110 and a Volkswagen Amarok. This post is for the Land Rover Defender 110. 

The customers travelled from the Essex area all the way up to "sunny" Yorkshire. Having a Front Runner Expedition Rack the customer purchased a Tent Mounting Kit from ourselves to install the Darche Hi-View Roof Tent. This lifts the Roof Tent up by 30mm allowing clearance of the tent over the edge of the rack. The Darche Roof Tent was then lifted on and bolted into place so that the tent would open over the rear of vehicle. Allowing access into the rear door through the Hi-Views Annex Door. 

A Darche 2.5m Eclipse Awning was the next job. The Darche Awning is supplied with L shaped brackets which we fastened to the underside of the rack using M8 bolts. Along the rear of the awning there are two small channels which you can slide M5 bolts down allowing a quick and easy bolt on installation to the L shaped brackets. 

The customers also picked up a number of other items (Front Runner Expander Chairs, Wolf Boxes, Mobile Storage Systems Cooker Housing & Adapter and Darche Telescopic Awning Poles for their new roof tent) ready for their camping adventures, starting locally to us in Rosedale in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with plans to move on up in to Scotland in the near future and explore the wonderful Scottish countryside.
